Wide ranging and international in coverage, CAMH includes reviews, original articles, preliminary reports and evaluations of innovative approaches and new service developments. The Editors aim to publish high-quality, evidence-based research of relevance to all professionals working with children and young people, including members of multi-disciplinary child and adolescent mental health services. The journal has regular sections of broader based interest - Measurement Issues, Innovations in Practice and Book News. The official journal of the International Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery (ISPN) was founded in 1972 as Child's Brain. As of 1 January 1985, the Society changed publishers. The new official journal, Child's Nervous System has been expanded to encompass all aspects of the pediatric neurosciences: development and growth, degenerative disorders, hereditary diseases, neurology, neurosurgery, neurooncology, neurophysiology, and trauma. Original manuscripts are given priority for publication; the same applies to brief communications. Individual case reports are welcome but, if accepted for publication, the 'lag-time' before appearance in print may well exceed 7 months from the time the final manuscript is received by the appropriate geographic editor until publication. However, faster publication is possible for individual case reports that might generate discussion (Case for discussion) or might provide an update on the status quo for a rare subject (Case-based update).
