Published works will also define platforms for translational research, drug development, clinical trials and patient-directed applications. The Journal of Thrombosis and Thrombolysis' integrated for
Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine publishes rapidly and rigorously peer-reviewed research papers, reviews, clinical case reports, perspectives, and short communications on topics relevant to the development of therapeutic approaches which combine stem or progenitor cells, biomaterials and scaffolds, growth factors and other bioactive agents, and their respective constructs. All papers should deal with research that has a direct or potential impact on the development of novel clinical approaches for the regeneration or repair of tissues and organs. The journal is multidisciplinary, covering the combination of the principles of life sciences and engineering in efforts to advance medicine and clinical strategies. The journal focuses on the use of cells, materials, and biochemical/mechanical factors in the development of biological functional substitutes that restore, maintain, or improve tissue or organ function. The journal publishes research on any tissue or organ and covers all key aspects of the field, including the development of new biomaterials and processing of scaffolds; the use of different types of cells (mainly stem and progenitor cells) and their culture in specific bioreactors; studies in relevant animal models; and clinical trials in human patients performed under strict regulatory and ethical frameworks. Manuscripts describing the use of advanced methods for the characterization of engineered tissues are also of special interest to the journal readership.
The Journal of Tissue Viability is the official publication of the Tissue Viability Society and is a quarterly journal concerned with all aspects of the occurrence and treatment of wounds, ulcers and pressure sores including patient care, pain, nutrition, wound healing, research, prevention, mobility, social problems and management. The Journal particularly encourages papers covering skin and skin wounds but will consider articles that discuss injury in any tissue. Articles that stress the multi-professional nature of tissue viability are especially welcome. We seek to encourage new authors as well as well-established contributors to the field - one aim of the journal is to enable all participants in tissue viability to share information with colleagues.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. The English Edition of JTCM appeared in 1981, being the earliest and the most authoritative TCM magazine with the largest circulation in China. It is an international quarterly devoted to clinical and theoretical research in this branch of medicine. The main columns include Experts' Forum, Clinical Observation, Basic Investigation, Reviews, Lectures, Teaching Round, and Questions and Answers, involving acupuncture, massotherapy and Chinese materia medica. Papers by outstanding clinicians, acupuncturists and researchers provide the latest information on the development of this discipline. JTCM is an indispensable reading for clinical practitioners and others interested in basic medicine research. Up to now, the German, Italian, Spanish, French, and Portugal editions have been successively published, making even greater contributions to the development and international academic exchange of traditional Chinese medicine.
JTCM focuses on both Eastern and Western complementary medicine and welcomes articles from all medical perspectives. JTCM encourages submissions which present observation and experimental investigation in translational and clinical studies, animal experiments, and in vivo/in vitro studies. Particular emphasis is given to the pathophysiological basis and the cellular-molecular mechanisms that underlie the beneficial effects of Traditional and Complementary Medicine.
Major topics covered include:
All articles published in the Journal, including perspectives, review, original articles, and short communications are the original content of the authors. The Journal's Editorial Office offers an efficient, constructive and friendly, though rigorous, peer review service as part of its ongoing effort to provide high quality and relevant perspectives in traditional and complementary medical sciences to our readers.
Journal of Translational Medicine is an open access journal publishing articles focusing on information derived from human experimentation so as to optimise the communication between basic and clinical science. The journal covers all areas of translational medicine but also has several dedicated sections: Cancer Microenvironment - Edited by Fernando Vidal-Vanaclocha Cell, Tissue and Gene Therapy - Edited by David Stroncek Immunovirology – Edited by Luigi Buonaguro Tumor Immunology and Biological Cancer Therapy - Edited by iSBTc (Section Editor Pedro Romero)
Journal of Transplantation is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and clinical studies in all areas of transplantation.
The journal aims to cover transport and health issues in all countries. Three particular aims of the journal are: to promote dialogue between the two research communities it serves; to improve the quality of data and the appropriate use of data; and to encourage transfer of research into practice.
Transport and Health Study Group (THSG)
JTH is formally affiliated with the Transport and Health Study Group (THSG). However, JTH is a scientific journal, and manuscripts submitted to JTH will therefore be considered on two factors - their scientific quality and the relevance of their content - and not on whether the study's findings conflict with current THSG policy. As the THSG prides itself on promoting evidence-based policies, there will be occasions when such policy needs to be reviewed because of emerging evidence.
The Journal of Trauma & Dissociation is the official journal of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. The journal is dedicated to publishing peer-reviewed scientific literature on dissociation, the dissociative disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, psychological trauma and its sequelae, and on aspect of memory associated with trauma and dissociation. The Journal of Trauma & Dissociation seeks manuscripts on theory, basic science research, clinical treatment and research related to psychological trauma, dissociation and traumatic memory in children and adults. The journal welcomes contributions from anthropological, cross-cultural, neurobiological, pharmacologic, psychologic, psychological, psychometric, psychotherapeutic and social viewpoints. Peer Review Policy: Submissions are peer reviewed by at least two reviewers selected by the editor. Authors and reviewers are blind to each others' identities.
