The field of knowledge-based development faces the major challenge of making concrete and relevant contributions to the amelioration of societies (i.e. creating a knowledge society) and not solely to the promotion of competitive advantage for businesses. IJKBD serves as a multi-disciplinary platform with a systems approach to the theory and practice of knowledge-based development activities and processes, focusing on knowledge cities and societies, knowledge-based urban development, knowledge and innovation clusters, and knowledge-intensive service activities.

IJLSM addresses the development of logistics resources, emphasising the implications that logistics strategies and systems have on organisational productivity and competitiveness in global and electronic markets. Globalisation of markets and logistics services is closely related to the success of a company. This perspective indicates the importance of effective logistics systems and their management for organisational effectiveness and competitiveness. The journal intends to provide executives and academics with the state of the art of logistics systems and supply chain management.

International Journal of Management Science and Engineering Management (IJMSEM) is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal that provides an international forum for researchers and practitioners of management science and engineering management. The journal focuses on identifying problems in the field, and using innovative management theories and new management methods to provide solutions.
