Animal Genetics reports frontline research on immunogenetics, molecular genetics and functional genomics of economically important and domesticated animals. Publications include the study of variability at gene and protein levels, mapping of genes, traits and QTLs, associations between genes and traits, genetic diversity, and characterization of gene or protein expression and control related to phenotypic or genetic variation.
Animal Models and Experimental Medicine (AMEM) is an international, open access publishing journal dedicated to disseminating research and contemporary information in the field of laboratory animal sciences.
Topics explored by AMEM include new animal models of human disease, laboratory animal biology, laboratory animal medicine, laboratory animal welfare, laboratory animal biotechnology, as well as other studies involving laboratory animals.
Animal Nutriomics is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that aims to provide timely updates on the latest research achievements, breakthrough advances, new technologies, methods, and analytical approaches in the field of animal nutrition science. The journal focuses primarily on molecular animal nutrition, omics technologies, and epigenetics, while also encompassing interdisciplinary aspects such as microbiome, veterinary medicine, food, and aquaculture. It specifically emphasizes research with potential impact on livestock animals and related lab model organisms, rather than wildlife or pets. Animal Nutriomics covers all novel research on animal nutrition science from the perspective of functional omics, especially in the fields of animal molecular nutrition, nutrition in animal health, nutritional regulation of genetics and epigenetics, nutrition-related omics, phenotype and metabolism.
Comprehensive Analyses of the Animal and Food SciencesResearch papers in Animal Production Science (continuing Australian Journal of Experimental Agriculture) focus on improving livestock and food production, and on the social and economic issues that influence primary producers. The journal is predominantly concerned with domesticated animals (beef cattle, dairy cows, sheep, pigs, and poultry); however, contributions on horses and wild animals may be published where relevant.Animal Production Science publishes the highest quality original contributions dealing with:* animal breeding and genetics* animal nutrition and reproduction* livestock farming systems, sustainability and natural resource management* meat science and consumer acceptability* behaviour, health and welfare* feed quality and nutritional value* bio-pharmaceuticals derived from animalsCritical Reviews, Interdisciplinary Views and CommentsWith the new scope of Animal Production Science you´ll benefit from exposure to debate from subject specialists from a variety of disciplines, including:* genetic and reproductive biotechnologies for livestock improvement* animal behaviour, health and welfare* dairy science and technology* sustainable production systems* meat science and quality .
Animal Reproduction Science publishes original research and timely reviews on topics relating to reproduction and fertility in animals. This includes both fundamental research and applied studies, including management practices that increase our understanding of the biology and manipulation of reproduction. The focus is on animals that are useful to humans including food- and fibre-producing; companion/recreational; captive; and endangered species including zoo animals, but excluding laboratory animals unless the study reveals new information that impacts our basic understanding of the biology or manipulation of reproduction applicable to the animals listed above. The journal's scope includes the study of reproductive physiology and endocrinology, reproductive cycles, natural and artificial control of reproduction, preservation and use of gametes and embryos, pregnancy and parturition, infertility and sterility, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.Animal Reproduction Science has decided not to publish papers that exclusively examine the in vitro development of oocytes and embryos; however, it will consider papers that include in vitro studies where the source of the oocytes and/or development of the embryos beyond the blastocyst stage is part of the experimental design.Authors with any concerns are encouraged to contact the journal to enquire about the suitability of the content of their paper for submission. Animal Reproduction Science has no page charges and only publishes papers after rigorous peer review.
Animal Science Journal (a continuation of Animal Science and Technology) is the official journal of the Japanese Society of Animal Science (JSAS) and publishes Original Research Articles (full papers and rapid communications) in English in all fi elds of animal and poultry science: genetics and breeding, genetic engineering, reproduction, embryo manipulation, nutrition, feeds and feeding, physiology, anatomy, environment and behavior, animal products (milk, meat, eggs and their by-products) and their processing, and livestock economics. Animal Science Journal will invite Review Articles in consultations with Editors. Submission to the Journal is open to those who are interested in animal science.
ANIMAL SCIENCE PAPERS AND REPORTS (Anim. Sci. Pap. Rep.) is an English language quarterly published by the Institute of Genetics and Animal Breeding of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Jastrzebiec. Papers are welcome reporting studies in all aspects of animal breeding and genetics, reproduction, animal biotechnology, physiology, ethology and welfare. Critical review papers and short reports will also be considered and in justified cases also other original articles dealing with animal science and production. Proceedings of the related meetings and conferences will be published as supplements.
