Publicada a lo largo de más de cuatro decenios, esta revista semestral nos acerca al estudio de la etapa moderna y contemporánea de la historia de México a través de artículos, reseñas y documentos, muchos de ellos notables por su rigor analítico, profundidad crítica y revisión exhaustiva de fuentes documentales así como por su imaginación y buena pluma.

Estudios de Historia Moderna y Contemporánea de México publica artículos originales sobre la historia de México y América Latina desde los procesos de independencia, reseñas de libros que aborden ese periodo y documentos. Los trabajos enviados deben ser inéditos y escritos en inglés o español.

Published over more than four decades, this biannual journal brings to us the study of modern and contemporary stage in the history of Mexico through articles, reviews and documents, many of them notable for their analytical rigor, critical depth, and exhaustive review of documentary sources as well as by its imagination.

Estudios de Historia Moderna y Contemporánea de México publishes original articles on the history of Mexico and Latin America since Independence revolutions, book reviews that address the period and documents. Papers submitted must be original and written in English or Spanish.
