Zeitschrift für Geomorphologie main volume is a peer-reviewed international journal presenting original contributions of high scientific standard from all fields of geomorphology, encompassing basic research and applied studies. Zeitschrift für Geomorphologie (ZfG) invites the submission of original papers from the entire field of geomorphological research, both applied and theoretical. Authors are encouraged to submit their papers to the editor-in-chief. Please peruse the instructions to authors (PDF) before submitting your paper. .

Annals of Leisure Research publishes refereed articles which promote the development of research and scholarship in leisure studies. Although originating in Australasia, Annals is aimed at an international readership, and seeks theoretical or applied articles which cover any topic within the broad area of leisure studies, including recreation, tourism, the arts, outdoor recreation, entertainment, sport, culture and play.

The Annals of the American Association of Geographers  was first published in 1911. It is recognized as the Association's premier journal for major research articles for all fields of geography. To be accepted, a paper must adhere to a high standard of scholarship and make an important contribution to geographic knowledge. It should also be grounded in the relevant literature of the specialization it represents and, where appropriate, establish relationships to themes within the broader discipline. Contents may include invited essays, review articles, Presidential Addresses, and memorials.

Applied Geography is a journal devoted to the publication of research which utilizes geographic approaches (human, physical, nature-society and GIScience) to resolve human problems that have a spatial dimension. These problems may be related to the assessment, management and allocation of the world's physical and/or human resources. The underlying rationale of the journal is that only through a clear understanding of the relevant societal, physical, and coupled natural-humans systems can we resolve such problems.Papers are invited on any theme involving the application of geographical theory and methodology in the resolution of human problems.This may include papers on the techniques, problems and results of environmental and/or social research, as well as those concerned with the principles, policies and consequences of resource management and allocation.
