Acta Orthopaedica presents articles, from all parts of the world, of basic research interest, as well as clinical studies in the field of orthopedics and related subdisciplines. Ever since the journal was founded in 1930, by a group of Scandinavian orthopedic surgeons, the journal has been published for an international audience.

Acta Orthopaedica et Traumatologica Turcica journal (AOTT) publishes diagnostic, treatment and prevention methods related to orthopedics and traumatology; studies in basic sciences. Formely known as Annales de Réadaptation et de Médecine Physique, Annals of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicineis the Official Journal of the French Society oh rehabilitation (Société Française de Médecine Physique et de Rédaptation -SOFMER), published in english and french.
